The prestigious EMO 2023 trade fair will host some of Ward CNC’s Principal Partners and will be a part of showcasing modern metalworking technology.
The EMO 2023 Exhibition on 18 September will include the introduction of intelligent technologies from forward-thinking production giants to companies worldwide, where Ward CNC will give a warm welcome to customers, our principal partners and their latest innovations. This world-leading trade fair for production technology will be held in Hannover, Germany and is the most significant event in the sector.
Ward CNC’s principal partners exhibiting at the event will include Takisawa Japan & Taiwan, who will each be showcasing four of their newest models, which we will discuss in more detail below. Soraluce will also be joining the trade fair with their ‘Ready to Lead’ expertise and acumen.
With Soraluce’s firm commitment to being a technological leader in the technological space, they will be sharing their innovation and sustainable practices at the EMO 2023. As leading experts in milling and boring, Soraluce will bring their automated solutions to the table, with a particular focus on their New Performance Line and the New Generation of Heads.
Attendees will bear witness to Soraluce’s latest technological developments, including a guided tour of their booth. The tour will also include live demonstrations, with the audience interacting with Soraluce’s technical experts to discover how innovation can drive success.
Soraluce has also added a new line of milling machines to its portfolio, which responds to challenges that are faced in the sector and will add value to finding solutions within all industrial environments. This is known as the Performance Line and is a reliable and precise structure.
Each machine is flexible in that it houses several setups, resulting in machines that can be configured for different working environments. There are three ranges that all share the machine’s main features (saddle, ram, heads, and column), which have been built on the principal design of the main machine.
Soraluce’s primary corporate strategy is leadership in technology; it focuses on higher productivity, better precision, higher efficiency and ergonomics. As well as this, Soraluce focuses on shortening downtime and limiting emissions and consumption.
A sophisticated design makes for better performance for the New Generation of Heads, achieving power outputs of up to 60 kW, resulting in rpms of 8000. Additionally, Soraluce will offer the market more than 300 types of heads, both customisable and standard. Some types of heads included are orthogonal heads, turning heads, fixed horizontal heads, and boring and angular heads.
Takisawa Japan will be releasing their new green machinery at EMO 2023. Takisawa is moving towards ‘Green Smart Machinery’ to introduce machinery supporting customers in decarbonising their production sites.
These energy-saving solutions are sure to spark interest at the EMO 2023 fair, and as a result of the green machinery, customers will be able to reduce their waste and carbon emissions. These new smart machines are made of intelligent software developed by Takisawa that monitors energy, processes optimisation and monitoring, and has a user-friendly operation interface. These features aim to reduce carbon emissions and save on fuel and energy consumption. Takisawa’s goal is to reach net zero; they see it as their social responsibility to implement this.
The four new machines that will be exhibited at EMO 2023 are TMX-4000IIST, a simultaneous 5-axis machine with a tool spindle; TT-2600IIWGA, a 12′ parallel 2 spindle CNC lathe machine; TM-3000Y2, an 8’+6′ facing spindle and 2 turret machine with both Y axis that is a multi-taking machine and TMS-2000YS, an 8’+6′ facing twin spindle CNC lathe with a single turret machine and a Y axis.
Ward CNC will be receiving the TM-3000Y2 in stock shortly, and we are excited to add this machine to our collection.
Some of these features include:
1. two belt-driven spindles
2. XYZ axis with box guideway supports high rigidity structure
3. the bed design is a horizontal box structure that provides minimal thermal displacement
4. optional optical linear or magnetic scales are available
5. compact machine body that focuses on saving space
The NX-2500YS generation comprises an improved slant bed structure, and the box guideway design provides high rigidity with high precision. The thermal displacement has also been improved upon with this new generation. The NX-2500 series also offers four different turrets (Standard T12/T15, BMT T12/T15) and four different configurations (MT, YT, MS, YS), which meet additional application requirements for different customers.
Additionally, Takisawa Taiwan has ushered in the new VTL-760 generation with a vertical turning centre and a box-shaped design with minimal thermal deformation. This generation also provides high rigidity and excellent cutting performance. This model brings easy access when it comes to loading and unloading materials.
A zero-cleaning coolant tank has also been designed for this model, with the recyclability rate of the chip in the coolant tank reaching up to 99%. As a result, the tank can be used for up to three years before needing to be cleaned out and replaced.
Further to this, the LA-350Y 15″ will be introduced for the first time at EMO 2023, with its high-rigidity turn-mill centre. This model has been structured with Takisawa’s own gearbox and provides the correct amount of torque needed for heavy cutting, reducing the amount of carbon emissions released.
Reflecting on the technology displayed by their principal partners, Ward CNC’s Executive Director – Stephen Bodsworth comments “We are delighted with the latest innovations and technology that our principal partners will be exhibiting at EMO 2023. The ever-evolving development in machine tool technology from our partners paralleled with the recent strategic enhancements we have made to our sales team, after-sales and service and technical engineering expertise ensures that we can continue to provide first-class service and coverage to our valued customers”.
Ward CNC is excited to announce our new partnership with Gurutzpe, a Spanish company that designs and manufactures CNC multi-tasking horizontal lathes whilst highly respecting customer input throughout the process.
As well as Gurutzpe, Ward CNC has a new partnership with Ronchini Massimo, an Italian company that manufactures high-end CNC milling routers for the metalworking industry.
Discussing these new additions to Ward CNC’s product portfolio, Managing Director Simon Whitworth states “We are extremely proud to introduce both Gurutzpe and Ronchini to Ward CNC’s product range. The added value that each of these companies will bring will complement our existing array of machine tools to provide even more choice for customers.
We are excited to see our new partners demonstrate their latest offering at the EMO exhibition and would encourage any United Kingdom or Republic or Ireland based customers to get in touch if either of these ranges or any further products in our portfolio could be of interest to them”.
