With the manufacturing industry descending upon the EMO exhibition in Hannover from September 16-21, UK and Republic of Ireland machine tool guests will have a raft of innovations to see from partners of Ward CNC.
Ward CNC exclusively represents Axile, Hankook, Hartford, Hyundai-Wia, Pinacho, Soraluce, Takisawa Japan and Takisawa Taiwan in the UK and each of these exciting brands will be introducing new technology at EMO.
Soraluce will showcase its extensive portfolio of machining solutions in Hall 13 Stand B38 and on these machine tools will be a multitude of new technologies. This will include the DAS+® (elimination of chatter during machining) system that maximises chip removal capacity during machining. Another highlight will be the VSET system, a patented clamping system to provide time savings for alignment.
Further innovations will include the Ram Balance system that improves ram geometrical accuracy, straightness and parallelism when vertical and cross axes are moved – increasing general precision of the machine. Also on show will be the DHC Dynamic Head Calibration system, a self-calibration concept that improves the accuracy of the compensation parameters associated to the head. Of course, all of these innovations will be demonstrated on the new Soraluce milling, turning and grinding centres at the show – so visit Hall 13 Stand B38 to find out more.
Looking toward the machining of everything from the larger components to the smaller prismatic parts, Hartford will also have a plethora of new products at EMO on Stand B15 in Hall 13.
With a specific focus on 5-axis machining and Industry 4.0, groundbreaking new Axile machines will be introduced in Hall 27 on Stand B63. Axile will concentrate its EMO attendance on 24/7 automated production with zero downtime. To achieve this goal and support Industry 4.0 production, the Axile machines from Buffalo Machinery will be integrated with the new ART system.
ART has been developed with 3 core functions and 10 sub-applications to optimise production through enhanced reliability, energy efficiency and production control. ART prepares high-tech interfaces for the manager, operator and service personnel that is easy to access and manage.
Bringing some of the most innovative machine tools to Europe at EMO, HYUNDAI WIA will be showing its technological advancements in turning and milling in Hall 26 on Stand B62 while Hankook (Hall 26, Stand A10) and Pinacho Lathes (Hall 16, Stand A20) will also be keen to introduce their latest product offerings for the manufacture of turned parts. For the production of smaller turned parts that demand the utmost in productivity and precision, Takisawa will have two stands at EMO. Be sure to visit both stands in Hall 17, Stand B54 and Hall 27, Stand D86 to find out more.
Members of Ward CNC’s Management Team will be attending EMO to gather the latest information and insights from the respective partners. If you would like to view or investigate the available technology, Simon Whitworth, Managing Director; Stephen Bodsworth, Executive Director and Stuart Lawson, the Head of Strategic Accounts & Projects will be in attendance should any attendees wish to discuss the sourcing of Ward CNC’s principal machines in the UK & ROI.
