Following recent enhancements to the company’s Sales and After-Sales & Service teams, T.W. Ward CNC Machinery Ltd (Ward CNC) is delighted to announce the appointment of Phil Hopkins in the position of Head of Strategic Sales.
Phil’s appointment will further strengthen the company’s senior management and sales team, bringing a wealth of technical experience within the Machine Tool industry in both engineering and technical sales.
Phil started his career as a CNC machinist in the Aerospace industry and developed into a Production Project Engineer before moving into sales, where he has enjoyed a highly successful career, constantly exceeding targets and building customer relationships.
Phil’s main focus will be selling and promoting the company’s Soraluce brand and portfolio of machine tools and value-added services into existing vertical markets, strategic customers and identifying potential new key markets and customers.
Speaking of his appointment, Phil comments “I’m very happy to have taken the position as Head of Strategic Sales here at Ward CNC. It’s a role I’m very excited to get started in and I’m looking forward to working with and developing the Soraluce brand here in the UK.”
Ward CNC’s Managing Director Simon Whitworth spoke of Phil’s appointment “We are pleased to welcome Phil to the company and are very excited about the prospect of him further enhancing our presence of the Soraluce brand across our key customers and potential new users of Soraluce machines. Phil has consistently demonstrated an ability to expand new markets and customer sectors which will complement the Soraluce brand and product range perfectly.”
Ward CNC’s Executive Director Stephen Bodsworth adds “Phil is the latest of many high-calibre additions we have made to our Senior Management Team and Sales Team and his track record of machine tool sales combined with his many years of building customer relationships will make him a fantastic addition to the company and is great news for existing and potential new customers alike”.
