the machine is specifically designed for the finishing of gudgeon pin bores, which have a combination of elliptical, round, trumpet and straight geometric profiles. special software has been developed for use in conjunction with the fanuc 160is-t control.
this enables virtually unlimited permutations of profile geometry, greatly simplifies programming and provides graphic display of the component through the specialist takisawa software.
formerly used in the uk formula 1 motorsport industry and in excellent condition.
