Ward CNC Update on COVID-19

Dear Valued Customer

We trust and hope you, your families and colleagues are safe and well.

Following the March communication regarding the Covid-19 pandemic, we continue to follow and monitor the government advice to support our customers, whilst ensuring the safety of our colleagues. As we all continue to work through these challenging and difficult times, we would like to take this opportunity to update you on the current status at Ward CNC.

Remote Working

All employees who can are now working remotely, with a skeleton staff on site in Sheffield operating on a rotational basis to ensure the full needs of our customers can be met.

Daily Management Call

Our Senior Management Team participates in a daily call to discuss the latest guidance, whilst continuing to monitor and implement our operational objectives; ensuring we have the required resources available to safely support all customer needs.

Daily Employee Communication

A daily update is issued to all staff following the management call. This ensures close communication and regular business updates are provided to the entire Ward CNC team. This update also includes the latest government and NHS advice, as well as a Q&A forum for employee feedback.

Our Commitment to You

We continue to maintain a high level of communication with our customers, not just in these unprecedented times. Recently we have seen some fantastic examples within our industry sector and our customers; many of whom are participating in Government Ventilator Challenge, pulling together to support those in need. Ward CNC is fully confident in our ability to support all our customers to keep their production running.

We continue to take service enquiries as usual with contact details provided below. We are reducing engineer travel where possible and our teams working on site will adhere to the lone working and social distancing practices in addition to presenting our COVID-19 form to site for authorisation.

New & Used Machine Tool Enquiries

Our Sales Operation team are working remotely and continue to interact with customers on new and existing enquiries. Our team will welcome the opportunity to discuss your machine tool requirements, including over 60 machines available from stock and on a short lead time.

Our Sales Operation team consists of your local Area Business Manager, Head of Strategic Accounts & Projects and Head of Used Machinery, who collectively possess over 160 years of machine tool experience, with expertise in Key Markets, including: Aerospace, Automotive, Defence, Engineering, Medical, Nuclear and Oil & Gas.
