Hyundai-Wia opens Tech Cube Technology Centre

Leading machine tool company Hyundai-Wia have opened their European Technology Centre Tech Cube in Rüsselsheim.

Speaking on the launch, Kyung Bae Kim, CEO of Hyundai-Wia Corp commented “Our European customers need the best service, training and technical support. We can offer everything here, and it will strengthen Europe’s confidence in our machines.”

The Tech Cube is a 5,500m2 building that combines sales, service, parts and R & D under one roof. In the warehouse of 1000m² 41,000 items are in stock. In the sales-supporting showroom, nine running machines were in operation at the opening. The Tech Cube provides ample room for demonstrations, (software) training, and customer testing that is available to dealers at all times. In the future there will be a program of various events, including industry days for specialized industries such as automotive, aerospace and tool and mould making.

Exclusive suppliers of Hyundai-Wia machine tools in the UK & Irish Republic Ward CNC were privileged to be at the opening, including Managing Director Simon Whitworth who was one of many distinguished guests who had the honour of cutting the ribbon for the grand opening.
