The Ward CNC team have recently installed and commissioned a new Hartford PBM115A, 5 axis CNC horizontal boring and milling machine at a valued customer’s premises.
The PBM115A, with 110mm spindle, a B axis table size of 1,600mm x 1,400mm and supported by a 40 station ATC is capable of high accuracy machining of complex valve bodies and will be the third of its kind supplied by Ward CNC to the major international product manufacturer, following their continued success in the Oil & Gas market across their multiple UK sites. Furthermore, the fourth identical Hartford CNC horizontal borer is scheduled to be installed early 2021 as part of the customer’s ongoing investment and business development programme.
