HARTFORD SHOWS WIDE RANGING CAPABILITIES FOR COST EFFECTIVE PRODUCTION
With three vertical machining centres on display, Ward CNC will illustrate to MACH visitors a varied capability for highly productive yet cost-effective production routines for a wide range of workpieces.
From our extensive range of Hartford machines will be the Blockbuster Pro-3210 double-column vertical machining centre. This machine has a 3,150 mm by 2,040 mm table able to accommodate loads of 6,000 kgs. X, Y and Z axes travels of 3,050 mm by 2,100 mm by 780 mm, and feed rate in all axes is 7,000 mm/min and rapid traverse rate (all axes) is 12 m/min. Speeds of 6,000 rev/min are available via the 22 kW spindle, which has an ISO 50 taper.
With a table of 1,450 mm by 800 mm for workpieces weighing up to 1,600 kgs, the Hartford HCMC-13 heavy duty vertical machining centre will be demonstrated under power and cutting.
The machine offers axes travels of 1,300 mm in X by 800 in Y and 660 mm in Z. Rapid traverse rate is 16 m/min (all axes) and cutting feed rate (all axes) is 10,000 mm/min via the 4,000 (6,000/10,000) rev/min 15/26 kW spindle. The ATC offers 20 tools as standard.
Also under power and cutting, the Hartford Power Centre Pro-1000 vertical machining centre offers X, Y and Z axes travels of 1,000 mm by 600 mm by 630 mm over the 1,1150 mm by 600 mm table that can handle loads of 700 kgs. Rapid traverse rate is 24 m/min (all axes) and cutting feed rate (all axes) is 12,000 mm/min. The 12.5 kW motor offers 6,000 rev/min and the ATC accommodates 24 tools.
In addition to four turning machines from Hyundai-Kia and two from Hankook, Ward CNC will also display the Soraluce TA-35A high end specification traveling table ram type CNC milling machine.
